You will cross six states and enjoy picturesque villages, old ports, and the capital of Massachusetts, Boston. This tour is especially lovely in autumn with the trees dressed in their beautiful orange, yellow and red colours.

In your motorhome you will be all set and ready to discover New England. You will visit small, picturesque villages and also bustling towns with large museums and universities. You will cross 6 states: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. This motorhome tour is a lovely way to enjoy a holiday with family and friends. There are many outdoor activities such as biking, hiking and rafting. You can also walk along the coast of New England, which offers a beautiful landscape including mountains and lakes. 

Your trip will begin in Massachusetts, the most popular state in New England. Boston is an ideal base for exploring this region. Take the opportunity to visit this historic and very attractive city, with its two famous universities, Harvard and Cambridge. Also visit the John F Kennedy Presidential Library and Musem before taking the road to the Cape Cod Peninsula. As you travel you will see that the American roads are well suited to motorhomes and offer easy driving conditions with numerous campsites to stay in overnight.

Don't miss a visit to Rhode Island, including its capital, Providence, a bustling city with good restaurants and shops. In New Hampshire visit the small town of Portsmouth with its unusual, old, but well preserved houses. Remember to make a last detour to Portland, Maine to enjoy its old harbor and lighthouse, and its artistic community.

The motorhome is an ideal way to travel along the open US roads. You will find your motorhome easy to drive and maneuver, and there are ample stations for refueling and refilling water tanks.

In the national parks, there are many low cost campgrounds that don't require booking in advance. Arrive early in the day for the best availability, travel as you please!

Road trips from the east-coast to west-coast and vice-versa are very popular so be sure to book your motorhome well in advance.
