Discover the best time to visit the different regions of Botswana depending on the temperatures.
Botswana has a climate that varies with the seasons. The most pleasant and sunniest months are from May to October. It is hot to very hot in the north of the country during the day but at nightfall the temperatures drop. Some areas of the desert freeze. The rainy season from November to April should be avoided. Some nature reserves and roads are impassable.

Extraordinary country with many campsites and a developed road network.
Avoid driving at night and always spend the night in established campsites.
It is important to reserve your campsite in advance during peak seasons.
For 5 - 6 passengers we recommend booking long in advance.
For certain park and nature reserve roads (except Kruger) a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.
