May and June are the best months to travel in England. This is the time of year when the days are longest and the sunshine is at its peak.
If you want to enjoy the beaches, the month of July is the best time to do so, as temperatures are highest in the south-eastern quarter of the country.
In winter sunshine is scarce, temperatures are lower and winds are stronger. You can however put on your skis in January and February.
